* Thanks to Steve (PGH) for compiling the list.
1. Joe Jackson FLA
Jackson is a very unique player that can do all things well. His career numbers are completely absurd. Joe is 1st in Habla history in the following categories: Avg (.371), Hits (4942), Doubles (832), Triples (267), Runs (3003), Runs Created (3489), Walks (1168), and Stolen Bases (1107). In addition, he is 5th in Home runs (657) and 4th in RBI (2081). I feel that it is safe to say that Joe Jackson is the greatest offensive player in Habla history.
2. Henry Aaron TEX
Last year's NL Triple Crown winner, Aaron is one of the greatest hitters in Habla history. Aaron has great contact, exceptional power, and solid defense. Having come to a new city and league this past offseason, it will be interesting to see how he adjusts.
3. Bobby Bonds KC
Bonds' value is perhaps best shown by the rediculous contract that he signed in the offseason for $58. At 34, Bonds remains one of the best hitters in the game and will likely continue to prodice for the royals for several more years.
4. Geoff Jenkins TEX
Jenkins, who has hit 50 homers in a season 5 times, has a career .322 average, with over 700 home runs, almost 2000 RBI, and over 200 stolen bases. In his best season he hit .364, 65 HR, and 139 RBI. His average season is not a far cry from each of those marks.
5. Frank Robinson CIN
Frank is a career .335 hitter with sufficient power. He has played his entire career in Philly and has been great every year.
6. Mel Ott PHI
Ott is much less a power hitter, though he does have plenty, and much more a table setter in this league. He steals bases (over 800) and hits for a great average (.331) and has scored 100 runs in every season that he has played at least 144 games.
7. Rickey Henderson SF
It seems weird to mention a player this young after the names we have just given, but Rickey is one of the most dangerous players on the base paths there is. Stealing 83 bases his rookie year and hitting .286 in his career, it seems obvious that he has a very bright future ahead of him.
8. Raul Ibanez COL
Ibanez is a solid hitter for average and a good hitter for power. He also does his part on the base paths, stealing 30 or mor bases 4 times.
9. Herold Baines CHA
Baines hits for average like very few do, but he also hits his fair share of homers. Baines will comtinue to get on base at alarming rate and tally hits by the truck load.
10. Adam Dunn KC
Dunn has hit for a career .282 average and blah blah blah. You run out of words after awhile. Adam Dunn is a really good hitter and the Royals are lucky to have him. Enough said.
Honorable Mentions: Stan Musial, John Liska, Jay Gibbons, Scott Podsednik, and Lenny Dykstra

Scott Podsednick, Adam Dunn and Bobby Bonds.. My whole starting OF. ;)
And Podsednick would top or be near the top of the list for Best Leadoff men.
Guys, I have to say, I had no idea just how great Joe Jackson had been until I did this list and researched him a little bit for the blurb. He is the all time leader in 8 categories! Would you agree that he is the best hitter in habla history? Who else is in the running?
When I sent my list to Nick, I had Hank ahead of Joe. I'm guessing Nick bumped Joe ahead so it would not appear that he was favoring his guy. This being said, the numbers that he is continuing to put up at his age are amazing, making it very difficult to argue against his being the best LF in the game.
I just hope JOe sticks around one more year :)

I bumped Jackson over Aaron because as I was researching for Joe's blurb, I could not in good conscious put him 2nd when he is all time leader in 8 categories. He has to be #1 I think.
It didn't really have to do with favoritism.
I would add Pedro Guerrero to the honorable mention list! He has been a very good LF. Also,I had to give him consideration because hes an ex Red Sox.
